Boreham Wood travel to Cherrrywood Road this evening to take on struggling Farnborough who currently occupy the second relegation spot.
The Wood will be looking to bounce back, end the blip and get back to the free scoring side we witnessed earlier in the season.
Following two defeats on the spin against Basingstoke and Farnborough Ian Allinson’s side know they must do better if they are to maintain their aim of promotion.
A win tonight would return the side to the top of the league.
Farnborough meanwhile have lost their last four games on the spin which have all been away from home conceding thirteen goals and scoring just three. They are however a different side at home and are undefeated in their last three games winning two and drawing one. Their last home victory was against Whitehawk.
We last met Farnborough on the opening day of the season where we ran out comfortable two nil winners.
It’s going to be an extremely tough game and as we know any team can beat anyone on the day so the players will need your continued excellent vocal support this evening in the first of twelve massive games.
