Form Guide

A big win against former Football League outfit Leyton Orient has boosted confidence amongst the Boreham Wood squad.

Goals from Danny Woodards and Keiran Murtagh added to the notion that there are goals throughout this exciting Wood side.

However, manager Luke Garrard was keen to downplay the win, insisting that it was just one match in a long National League season.

Dover are currently top of the table, having beaten former leaders Aldershot Town 2-0.

Managed by Chris Kinnear, the side are unbeaten in three and will be keen to extend that run on Tuesday.

From the Dugout – Luke Garrard

“There will be confidence on Tuesday. Everyone was due a bad game and that was the match against Barrow, and I said to the boys in the huddle after the Orient game, let’s kick on now.

“Let’s not just settle for a win against Leyton Orient and be happy, let’s go to Dover and really cause them problems.

“The focus turns back to Dover now, as soon as they landed back in the building on Monday, the focus was on Dover and how we can kick on again and get back-to-back wins like we did Torquay to Solihull to Aldershot.

“Back-to-back clean sheets is another ask, that’s something else that I want to tick off, but Monday they need to realise that Leyton Orient is done, that is history, and Dover now has to be the focus.”
