This Tuesday evening Wood welcome Watford to Meadow Park, when the two sides contest a place in the Semi Final which will be an away tie at Bishops Stortford.

The Golden Boys last visited Meadow Park in a competitive fixture two seasons ago at the same stage in the competition. The youthful Watford side made up of Under 21 and Under 18 squad members contributed to a very entertaining and close fought game. Ian Allinson fielded a strong side on the evening and found the visitors more than a match. It was a highly entertaining game with Watford showing a high level of organisation, keeping the ball superbly.

Wood eventually ran out 2-0 winners en route to winning the Cup, defeating Hitchin Town, then Bishops Stortford in a penalty shoot out Final.

Watford earned the right to play this tie after overcoming Berkhamsted 1-3 in extra time in the previous round. Wood managed around fifty minutes of football over at Sawbridgeworth before the lights went out and with the Essex Senior League side unable to fulfill the replay, the town is set up for what should be a very competitive game of football played to a very high standard.

There are reduced admission prices of £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
