Wood travel to Bishops Stortford on New Years Day for what is now a truly massive game for both sides. With the hosts hovering above the relegation zone and ourselves clinging onto a top spot, the need for three points for both teams is critical.

Wood have suffered with their form on the road this season, dropping seventeen points, in comparison to just seven at home. After successive defeats at Eastbourne Borough and Bath City Wood will be looking to get back against winning ways against a side we beat 2-0 at home in a close match on Boxing Day.

Since then, both sides recorded 2-0 defeats, with our hosts losing at home to Havant and Waterlooville last Sunday.

The Bishops are hoping to call upon the services of their main striker Mikel Suarez for the game. He missed out on the trip to Meadow Park through injury.

Ian and the boys will be glad of your support for this crucial tie.
