PASE SPLASH PAGE2

Boreham Wood’s PASE Scheme (Programme for Academic and Sporting Excellence) are delighted to announce our first trial date for the 2015/2016 season.

This trial will be held on:

Thursday 19th February 2015

Please arrive at 9:30am for a 10:30am start .

At Boreham Wood Football Club, Meadow Park, WD6 5AL.

Our PASE Academy is a very well-known and much respected Football/Education Scheme, for talented young men aged between 16 to 18 years old.

This initial trial will give you the chance to look at our facilities, showcase your talent, speak to our Coaching and Medical team and talk with existing PASE Players to discuss their experiences and meet our Chairman.

We can offer you the chance to combine your studies and enjoy a high level of UEFA accredited football coaching from Ex-Professional players. With a football structure and training programme designed to suit players of all abilities.

We have designed our programme to allow every boy to progress through the various levels and abilities within the Football Club, that only a scheme of our size can offer.

Academically Boreham Wood Football Club because of our fantastic facilities, can offer our students full time education courses that are taught on site at the club and because we are also in partnership with top class education providers we can also offer a variety of full time courses off site.

We believe we offer the widest range of courses, including BTEC’s, CYQ Personal Trainer courses, Construction courses and A-Levels. We also offer other diverse courses but only if the timetables make these feasible with your training programmes.

Many other Schemes that claim to mirror our PASE Scheme, have lots of hidden charges. So you must be careful, when deciding your future and if it’s affordable in your circumstances. Our scheme is completely FREE save for a training kit cost that is heavily subsidised.

Boreham Wood Football Club has in the last year enjoyed its third year partnership with the Championships, Reading Football Club. This exciting initiative, has flourished throughout 2012, 2013 and 2014 with BWFC’s Young player’s playing in 8 games between the two Youth Structures in the last three seasons and have acquitted themselves very well.

These games proved so successful for both clubs, that it has led to us being asked to prepare Reading, for their FA Youth cup games against both Brentford and Arsenal and led to BW PASE players Sam Doolan, Rob Hastings and Maxwell Holland going to Reading to experience life as a young pro.

The partnership also recognises the progress and investment being made at BWFC. This is headed up by our PASE Manager Billy Hunter, Academy Director Luke Garrard, Head Coach Cameron Mawer and our Clinical lead Megan Reid and is shown and seen by the constant upgrades of our facilities and infra-structure, made by our Chairman.

DSC_1125That investment has seen a new training site built, new classrooms built, a new 900 seater stand built, new Minibuses purchased, a new Gym and Recreation room built. Our progress has seen our PASE Scheme and youth structure challenge and win National Titles and many other leagues and cups in recent years.

We’ve also produced 14 England Internationals at both Schools and College level over the last 5 years, which is more than any other non league club at our level in the Country.

We have also progressed many of our boys in the last 10 years to play at a senior non-league level of football and presently we have 4 PASE Scheme players in our First Team squad that currently plays at Conference South Level.

We have also had many of our boys turn professional, both Matty Whichelow and Lee Hodson made their debuts with local Championship club Watford. Lee now plays at MK Dons and Matty is now employed by ourselves as a player and as a senior PASE coach. Kyle Vassell is another player who spent 6 years with us and is now making his way very successfully at Peterborough.

More recently youth players like Pelly Ruddock, have turned professional with West Ham United in 2012. Pelly signed a three year contract with them and we are proud to say, made his full first team debut for West Ham United in November 2013 against Burnley. We are obviously delighted to play our part in Pelly’s progress and since his full West Ham United debut, he has been bought for a fee by Luton Town, became a big part of their promotion winning team last season and is now one of their shining young lights.

Across the board we now have PASE graduates at all levels of the Football League, the Non-League Pyramid, on full Scholarships in the USA or at good University’s in the UK.. We believe that “we achieve what others say they’ll do”. That’s why we recommend that you attend other trials in the coming months and make the comparisons.

Boreham Woods state of the art astro complex which is visited by 250,000 players and spectators each seasonPlease compare their facilities, compare their player progress, compare their Coaches and compare their Coaching set up, compare their Pitches, compare their Transport set up, compare their Medical support and importantly compare their hidden costs.

Then ask yourself can they offer you the complete Football/Education package??? Only by doing that, can you can you make an intelligent and informed decision on your future.

It’s vital that you, your parents or guardians, focus on your future and we are confident that when you consider all the factors, that we will be your PASE Scheme of choice. We believe nobody can remotely match our success, nobody can match our care and nobody can match the investment we’ve made over the last 10 years for our scholars.

So if you are 16 to 18 years old and wish to trial with Boreham Wood Football Clubs PASE Scheme, then we genuinely want to hear from you.
