Boreham Wood can announce that Shaun Jeffers will join Hampton & Richmond Borough on a short-term loan.

The forward joined Wood from Chelmsford on a one-year deal, in the summer of 2017. An explosive striker, Jeffers netted 21 times in just 39 appearances last season as he led Chelmsford to the National League South Play-Off Final.

His spell with Chelmsford saw him enjoy his most successful season to date, with more than a goal every other game.

Jeffers has netted three times in the National League so far, this season. However, despite his strong form, the forward has been kept out of the starting eleven by new signings Morgan Ferrier, Joe Quigley and Michael Folivi.

Jeffers will now link up with Hampton & Richmond for a short period on-loan, as he looks to gain match fitness. The striker would be available for the Wood, should they make the playoffs.

Everyone at Boreham Wood Football Club, would like to wish Shaun all the best during his time at Hampton and Richmond Borough.
