HARRY CRAWFORD

Boreham Wood Football Club have added another player to our squad, in the form of striker Harry Crawford.. Harry who began his career with Southend United, has in recent seasons had stops at Dover, Dartford and Barnet and is according to gaffer Ian Allinson, best described as a hard working striker.

Wood manager Ian Allinson said “Harry came into the club during pre season, he’s been a pleasure to have around, he gets on well with the squad and has worked very, very hard. In Harry’s case its been a difficult one for me to assess, especially as we’ve played against league teams like Luton Town and Brentford”..

“I like players who show a good attitude in training and I like to see players who look to continually improve their game.. Harry fits the profile I describe and with the season just a week away, I’ve had to make a judgement call to sign him. I’ve also agreed with Harry that we will review things at the end of August as that will give him enough time to impress me further and get himself an improved deal”.. Allinson concluded.
