Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce that Harrington Car Sales Ltd, who are based in nearby Shenley Village, have once again agreed to continue their sponsorship with the football club for the 2016/17 season..

BWFC’s Commercial Executive Mandee Morris said “Harrington’s have seen the huge strides we have made as a club over the last few years and in truth their commitment to us over so many years has helped our little club enormously.. We simply want to help Harrington’s Car Sales, to get maximum exposure for their company, through their ground board in the stadium and through our quarterly newsletter”..

“As I keep saying to every local company, why not come and be a club sponsor, you not only get to sponsor BWFC as your local football club but you get the added association of the Arsenal Ladies and the Arsenal men’s Development squad. Both play their games at Meadow Park, which ensures you get plenty of TV exposure through Arsenal IPlayer, Sky Sports, BT sports and BWTV”..

“As a local company it’s important that we do our best to promote all of our contributing local businesses in the correct way and we are better value than advertising through any of the local papers. We will ask our supporters and as many local people as possible, to pop up to Shenley and see if Peter has a bargain or two on his well stocked forecourt.. We of course are very thankful to Peter for his continued support and we thank him for his loyalty”..

Peter Harrington – Owner of Harringtons Car Sales Ltd said “We are delighted after a very tough season that Boreham Wood FC finally managed to stay in the National Premier League. Like ourselves Boreham Wood FC have stood the test of time and like ourselves are a committed local company, who actively support their local community”..

“It’s been really nice to see Boreham Wood win numerous promotions in recent years and our stadium board, is often seen on the Arsenal and Arsenal Ladies website. It’s also seen on both Sky and BT Sport when their games are live and that makes it value for money.. We are pleased to see that the club is still progressing and the work they do in the community, especially within the local schools is brilliant”..

“Recently they held an inter school’s tournament at the club, for all the local primary schools which was a great success. They provided their facility, the referee’s, a packed lunch for the kids, provided medals, cups and even live music for everyone and made it all free of charge. It ended with Shenley Girls winning the girls tournament and the Shenley Boys reaching the Final but most importantly it showed they care. We are proud of their success and we wish them all the very best for season 2016 -17..
