Elvijs is a nineteen year old Latvian “Under 19” International goalkeeper who joined Boreham Wood on Loan for the remainder of the 2010/11 Season from Queens Park Rangers in mid-January 2011. He joined Q.P.R. in September 2008. Elvijs has progressed well since joining Q.P.R. in the past year which culminated in winning the Fair Play Cup at the Trofeo Sardegno in Sardinia. He trained with the First Team towards the latter stages of the 2008/09 Season, which saw him warm up in the penultimate game of the Season against Wolves. He is now a member of the First Team Squad. He made his First Team debut for Boreham Wood against Chelmsford City (Home) on the 15 January 2011 and helped the Club win the match 2 – 0.
