Boreham Wood FC can confirm following a pitch/ground inspection, tonight’s Vanarama National League fixture against Aldershot Town at the EBB Stadium has been postponed.
Tonight’s game falls victim to the freezing temperatures seen across the country over the last few days and joins a number of other fixtures across the league in being postponed.
Our hosts have informed us that the main concerns were the safety and accessibility of supporters within all areas of the stadium, and though the pitch is in a decent condition presently, further forecasted freezing temperatures have put the pitches condition in doubt.
Details on refunds and further information on tickets for tonight’s fixture will be announced in due course once confirmed by our hosts Aldershot Town.
