For all our Adult or OAP away day travel club members, who are on our official mini buses to Bromley to Saturday, you’re in for a treat. The Chairman has kindly offered due to the later departure, to buy everyone of you a pint, a glass of wine or a drink before you travel, instead of the now customary free breakfast that he normally provides for our longer away trips and earlier departures.
As such, the Wenger Suite adjacent to the main club car will be open to you all from 11am this Saturday, before your 12pm away travel club departure on the mini buses.
For those of you who are not actually traveling to the game, but who would still like to feel involved, the club is offering a “Football Fans Happy Hour” between 2pm and 3pm, also in the Wenger Suite with half price beer, cider and wine.
The Bromley game will then be broadcast back to the club at 3pm live on the radio and you can it’s hoped enjoy each other’s company as you support the team by having a Saturday afternoon drink at the club.
There is ample parking that’s free and we’ll ensure you don’t miss any of football action, as the BT Saturday Football updates will be on, with Robbie Savage and co, with all the analysis, opinions and round ups from around the various leagues on our flat screen TV’s.
So if any Wood supporters do wish to come down with the wife, the kids or with a few friends on the day then please feel free.
