IAN ALLINSONFollowing our early FA Trophy exit at Concord, Boreham Wood FC can announce that we have rearranged our home game against Staines Town, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 18th April 2014.

The new date has been moved to Saturday 13th December, with a 3pm kick off at Meadow Park and it is hoped that we will not only cement our position at the top of the league but create some Christmas cheer, community giveaways and extend our local youth club initiatives for this fixture.

Manager Ian Allinson said “we now have a massive home game against local rivals Hayes this Saturday, that is followed by the rearranged home game against Staines the following Saturday.. These matches are I’m sure going to be close, pressure games that could well shape our title aspirations”..

He went on “I’m hoping that the town, the local families, the local kids, the local youth clubs, the pro clubs who are not at home and the floating supporters, who are ata loose end or hate Christmas shopping will get behind us. We need them to attend, bring a friend and take up our pre xmas offers. We need them to turn out in force, we need them to make a make a difference, as these are our last two home league game before Christmas”.. He concluded.

Details of all our initiatives and our Christmas fixtures and k/o times will be announced by Friday..
