Boreham Wood Football Club PASE new trial date 

West Ham FriendlyBoreham Wood Football Club can now announce our first trial date for players wishing to join the PASE scheme for the 2014/2015 season. PASE at Boreham Wood invites players between the ages of 16-18 years old who want to continue both their education alongside developing as a footballer at a decent level.

Our first trial assessment will be held on Thursday 20th February 2014 at Boreham Wood Football Club, with a 10.00am registration. Boreham Wood FC PASE Academy is a football/education scheme, offering talented young men the chance to combine a high level of football coaching from ex-professional players and a football structure that you will find impressive.

Academically Boreham Wood Football Club are in partnership with Education providers Cohenel College, to offer a wide range of courses, including BTEC’s, CYQ Personal Trainer courses, Construction courses, and Level 1 & 2 coaching courses.

previewOn the football side, PASE manager Billy Hunter, academy coaches Luke Garrard and Mario Noto, and medical staff Megan Reid and Kate Simmons head BWFC PASE academy. Over the past 5 years, the management has seen our PASE Scheme win National Titles and produce 10 England internationals at Schools and College level. We have also progressed boys to play in our First Team at Conference South Level and beyond.

Namely, Pelly Ruddock, signed for West Ham United. Pelly is ever present in the Hammers Under 21 Premier League side, and he’s now gone onto the make his debut in their first team in the Carling Cup against Championship side Burnley. Across the board we now have PASE graduates at all levels of the Football League, Non-League and in the USA.
