Boreham Wood PASE recruit Jake Knight made his England debut in a 1- 0 win against the Welsh Colleges, and will also face the Dragons in the return leg this Wednesday down in Bristol.
After many trials and a weekend away in Lilleshall Jake was called upon to start the game against Wales, and was hardly troubled after dealing with a few tame crosses and a fine effort from outside the box.
Jake commented “I was happy to be given the start and was pleased with my game, I had to deal with a few crosses and a shot from far but all in all the team defended well, I’m now looking forward to the return leg and hope to gain another clean sheet”.
Everyone at the club wishes Jake the best on Wednesday and hope he can gain a second England Colleges Cap.
