Boreham Wood Fc Under 19s Youngster Jordan Lawal will represent his country on Monday 10th January in an International Fixture Vs Wales.
Jordan successfully progressed through the trials to be named in the 18man squad at the end of December.

Jordan becomes the fifth Boreham Wood Youth Team player to represent at an International level. Jordan is ever present in the Reserve squad this year, winning many admirers amongst the hierarchy at the club.

Manager Luke Garrard Said “Over the last 6months we have seen a marked improvement in Jordans game, he has developed into an all round central midfielder applying himself in both training and matches. Jordan joined us in 09/10 season as a second year scholar from local side Kentish Town, in Jordans debut season he played a major part in winning the treble with the successful Under 18s side. With Jordans call up to the College National side this must rank amongst the top of his achievements in his short career, everyone at the club wish him the best of luck in his debut International Fixture and hope he can receive as many caps for his Country as possible”

The club would also like to wish David Sesay, Lee Close and Liam Griffin the best of luck in their pursuit of being selected for the England Schools National Side, the trio travel to LIlleshal on Friday 7th January for a 3day training camp, to hopefully secure their place in the English Representative side.
