Boreham Wood would like to congratulate goalkeeper Ryan Huddart on his call up to the England C squad.

Manager Paul Fairclough has named a 16-man squad and Huddart will join up with his England C teammates in Manchester after their club fixtures on Saturday March 16.

While, striker Bradley Ash has been placed on the standby list for the squad.

Huddart arrived at Meadow Park from Arsenal in the summer of 2018 and has gone on to establish himself as the Wood’s number one this season, making 25 appearances.

Ash also arrived in the summer of 2018, joining from Football League One side Barnsley, having begun his career with Weston-super-Mare.

The Non-League Three Lions ended last year with a win over Estonia U23s at Leyton Orient and now they head to Salford City’s Peninsula Stadium for their next game on Tuesday March 19.

England C is a representative team for U23 players who feature for clubs at National League level and below.
