Boreham Wood would like to congratulate goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe on his latest call-up to the England Under 20s squad.
The on-loan Brentford stopper will join up with manager Paul Simpson and the rest of the squad for their fixtures against Italy and Czech Republic.
Balcombe was called up for the last round of Under 20s fixtures, against Switzerland and Holland and retains his place in the squad.
The young goalkeeper has featured for England at both Under 18 and Under 20 levels, and was famously part of the Three Lions team that won the 2017 Toulon Tournament.
The young Lions will host Italy on Thursday, October 11 at AFC Fylde (7pm) before taking on the Czech Republic at the home of Dynamo České Budějovice on Monday, October 15 (5pm).
