Boreham Wood travel to Hampshire this Saturday, 17th December 2011 to face Eastleigh in the Blue Square Bet South, kick off 3.00pm.

Eastleigh come into Saturday’s game off the back of good league form in recent weeks, which has seen them lose just one game in their last six matches, at the hands of league leaders Woking, 1-0. The last six games have seen them win four, draw one and lose just one, climbing from 18th in the league to 12th.

So far this season, Eastleigh have recorded 27 points from their 20 league games. They have won 8, drew 3 and lost 9, whilst scoring 27 and conceding 33 in the process.

Eastleigh currently sit two places below ‘Wood’, but a win on Saturday would see them climb above ‘Wood’ in the league table, so Saturday is a very important game.

Ian Allinson’s men come into the game on Saturday having lost to Blue Square Bet Premier side Cambridge United in the FA Trophy last Saturday 1-0, however the spirit and quality that was shown in spells of the game suggested that ‘Wood’ could compete with Clubs at Blue Square Bet Premier level. So an exciting and attacking game is in store, as two of the leagues in form teams meet this Saturday.
