Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce they will be playing 4 Development Squad games in October, on the main pitch at Meadow Park.

BWFC want all our supporters to know that we have arranged these attractive fixtures for our Youngsters and believe it is a good chance for the fans to see the blossoming talent being produced at the club.

The first of these fixtures will be played this Monday, 8th October, against a strong Barnet Development squad and is a great fixture to gauge ‘Young Woods’ progress.

Then on Monday, 15th October, Manager Gary McCann will bring over his Hendon team, who play in the Ryman Premier. This fixture will also continue the close links between the two clubs, especially as the Hendon Gaffer’s son Max McCann plays for Boreham Wood…

The following Monday, 22nd October, ‘Young Wood’ entertain a strong Biggleswade Town team. They play their football in the Southern League Central Division, they currently sit 4th from top in a division that includes our old adversaries Slough Town, Northwood and Uxbridge amongst others.

We will then finish the month off, on Monday, 29th October. As Potters Bar Manager Adam Lee brings over his side who have started the season really well and sit top of the Ryman Division One North for what will be another testing fixture…

So as you can see, these games are big tests for our younger lads, as we look to improve them as a group, as well as advance a little further in the FA Youth Cup…

PLEASE NOTE: EVERY GAME KICKS OFF ON THE MAIN PITCH AT MEADOW PARK AT 7.00pm…

Entrance per game is £4 Adults and £2 concessions, with all proceeds being recycled into Boreham Wood FCs PASE Academy. So please support our young players and the clubs continued ‘Investment In Youth’… THANK YOU
