Following the success of the many community match day sessions ran so far this season, the club are delighted to announce that they will once again be putting on free coaching for children aged 5-to-12-years-old.

The coaching sessions will run between 1.45-2.45pm prior to the home match against Dover Athletic on Saturday, January 20 (3pm).

All children participating will receive a FREE ticket to the match, with £10 admission for a parent, or guardian. The children must be accompanied by the parent, or guardian.

Registration for the sessions starts at 1.30pm and will be run by the club’s famous PASE Academy coaching staff.

Make sure that your children do not miss this excellent opportunity to sharpen their footballing skills on the Wood’s brand-new 5G Astro turf.

The children will be training on the same pitch as their favourite players, whether it be our skipper Mark Ricketts, sharp shooting Bruno Andrade or our defensive lynchpin David Stephens, this is their chance to replicate them.

The children will then all be able to watch the Wood for FREE, as they take on Dover Athletic in the National League.

Make sure that you get involved with your local community football club, as we continue to fight for the National League playoff places.

Community Manager Micky Engwell said: “It is so important for us as a football club to deliver these sessions and be so involved within the local community.

“The children are always brilliant and they get so involved in the coaching, before going out to sing themselves hoarse inside Meadow Park.

“We see huge potential in our local community and we want to make the whole of Borehamwood proud of their local football team.

“These sessions are great fun and are ran by our excellent PASE academy coaches, so please do get down and enjoy the day.”

If you would like to sign your child up for the sessions, then all you need to do is send your child’s name, age, parental contact name, contact number, address and email address to bwfc.communitydep@hotmail.com or call our community department on 020 8953 5097.
