Following extreme weather and freezing temperatures forecasted in the lead up to this Saturday’s match up between the Wood and Sutton United at Meadow Park, and the game therefore being in doubt subject to a frozen pitch, both Club’s have worked quickly to reverse the fixture to Sutton’s Gander Green Lane.
With the U’s having a 3G pitch it was all parties opinion that given the poor weather forecast, reversing the fixture will give the match the best possible opportunity to go ahead as planned.
Boreham Wood FC would like to thank Sutton United for their cooperation in getting the fixture reversal completed without a hitch, including their Officials and Manager.
Please note our previously scheduled Easter away fixture against Sutton United at Gander Green Lane on Friday 2nd April shall too be reversed and will now take place at Meadow Park.
Any fans who had purchased a stream for Saturday’s fixture will be contacted directly regarding their purchase. Further information will be relayed to both home and away supporters in due course regarding the stream from Sutton United.
