Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a ‘Virtual Open Day’ for our renowned BW PASE Academy on Monday 18th May at 6.00pm in collaboration with our education partners Barnet & Southgate College.

The virtual open day has been devised to give prospective BW PASE Academy hopefuls an opportunity to get an insight into what our Academy can offer them.

The evening will be operated virtually via our website, kicking off at 6pm with a welcome talk from our Chairman Danny Hunter, who was the visionary and founder of the Academy back in 2002. This will then be followed by a series of videos on different aspects of the Academy, before joining our Academy staff interactively for a question and answer session on any Academy queries that you may have.

On the evening, we plan to give you a more in-depth overview of the Academy, that prospective Academy players would typically get on our trial days. Unfortunately, given the current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and necessary restrictions, this is something we are unable to do, and as such we want to give you an insight to our renowned Academy and what it can offer you from the comfort and safety of your own homes.

Aspects of the Academy that will be covered on the evening will include, but are not limited to the following: –

  • Our coaching philosophy
  • Introduction of our coaching team
  • Introduction of our medical team and the safety precautions we are putting in place at our sites post-lockdown
  • Introduction of our education partners and course options
  • The BW PASE player pathway, including possible exit routes
  • Success stories, including accolades, PASE professionals and PASE internationals

If you would wish to attend the BW PASE Academy ‘Virtual Open Day’ on Monday 18th May at 6pm, please fill out our Academy application form by clicking here.

We look forward to showing what the UK’s most successful sports/education programme can offer you, but until then, please remain safe and healthy!
