Wood face Bromley for the third time this Season on Saturday with a trip to Hayes Lane.    Ian Allinson will be looking for revenge after seeing his side knocked out of the F.A. Carlsberg Trophy by The Lillywhites earlier this Season.

The initial tie ended in a 1 – 1 draw in Kent, when Wood were left to rue a number of missed chances.    Looking to continue their dominance in the Replay they found the Kent side in superb form, and they ran out worthy 0 – 2 winners on the evening.

Bromley did the Blue Square Bet South proud, beating Premier side Kidderminster Harriers in the following Round before succumbing to one of this Season’s Semi Finalists, Dartford, in the following Round.

In a weather affected couple of months Bromley have lost their last four League matches, which leaves them eleven points and eleven places behind fifth placed Wood.    However, the League is probably the tightest in the Country at present, with just twelve points between second bottom and sixth, so there is absolutely everything to play for, for both sides.

The visitors strengthened their ranks midweek with the signing of midfielder Ishmael Welsh from Chelmsford City.    For Wood it is the last game of Loick Pires’ one month Loan from Woking.    The weather has not been kind to Loick, this will be only his third game due to the snow and rain.

Bromley vs. Boreham Wood, Saturday 16 February 2013, Kick Off 3.00pm.

The Stadium, Hayes Lane, Bromley, Kent. BR2 9EF.
