Ex Wood Player Mark Warburton will bring his Championship side to Meadow Park tomorrow evening in what will be Woods first run out of Pre Season.
The Bees have spent the first part of their preparations for life in the Championship by holding a training camp in sunny Florida.
The game on Thursday will be Brentford’s first Pre Season game of the summer and with a full first team arriving, the Bees faithful can expect to see a first glimpse of their new signings in action. Tommy Smith who is trialling with Brentford could also feature.
For the Wood, new signings Scott Thomas and Loanee Lee Angol are in the Wood squad along with a couple of trialists. The game will be a good test and great preparation for the visit of Arsenal on Saturday.
There is a fantastic relationship which is growing between both clubs, having met in the FA Cup two seasons ago, we then hosted Brentford in Pre-Season last year and we are delighted to be hosting them again.
The sun will be shining so a perfect excuse to come out and see some Pre-Season action.
