Automotive Retailer Lexus Edgware Road is Boreham Wood FC’s new principle sponsor for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons.
Lexus Edgware Road, located at The Hyde, Edgware Road, Colindale, north London, is featured on the back of the club’s home and away shirts. Fans will also see the sponsor’s business highlighted on two prominent stadium boards and two astro pitch banners whilst the dealership will also be promoted in the match-day programme.
General manager Diana Mackinnon, who heads up the business, commented: “For us, Boreham Wood is just up the road so it was a natural partnership and we are all excited about our involvement in the club. We are also looking forward to welcoming Boreham Wood FC supporters, employees and players to the business where they can simply pop in for a chat and enjoy some decent coffee.
“We are always keen to become involved in the local sporting community. We can now add football to our portfolio of sports we continue to support which includes golf, rugby and cricket.”
Commercial executive Mandee Morris added: “We are delighted to have such a prestigious local company support us at Meadow Park. Attracting such support speaks volumes about the work and progress the club is making in the local community. We are looking forward to Lexus Edgware Road being a part of the work we are doing as well as providing the business with a platform to showcase their products and services.”
Boreham Wood Football Club will also be playing host to Arsenal Ladies and the Arsenal Development Squad for the next two years reflecting Meadow Park as an in demand venue. Matches at the club are often televised on both BT and Sky Sports whilst Arsenal IPlayer and on UEFA TV also broadcast games featuring their teams.
