With the Wood Army fanbase growing significantly, we want to help to ensure that our supporters find a way to each of our away games.

Luke Garrard and the squad will need as many of the Wood Army at the game against Salford City as possible, to help cheer them on to another successful season.

As such, we have compiled this easy to follow guide on alternative travel to the game, which takes place tomorrow at 3pm.

The easiest train station to travel to is Manchester Piccadilly, which is just over four miles away from the ground and a short taxi journey away. Or, you could travel to Manchester Victoria from Manchester Piccadilly and catch a bus to the ground (No.97 or 98).

Manchester Piccadilly station can be reached directly via trains from London Euston and the train takes around two and a half hours. London Euston can be reached from Elstree and Borehamwood station, via a train to Kentish Town.

You can also drive to Salford City and it takes around three and a half hours. This time depends on traffic, so allow plenty of time!

There is no parking available at the ground for visiting supporters and some of the streets close to the ground have a ‘residents only’ policy in operation. However, there is street parking available on Moor Lane and other streets nearby, including Kersal Moor Road.

Your attendance and efforts to get to the game would be hugely appreciated by the Chairman, management and players, as they continue with the new National League campaign.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
