After subsidising our aborted trip to Barrow in early December following Storm Desmond.. Wood Chairman Danny Hunter again subsidised a luxury coach to Southport on Saturday for the Wood Army faithful.. Once again the weather intervened with a waterlogged pitch meaning yet another away game postponement.
We are however hoping it will be third time lucky, as the Chairman has confirmed he will lay on another subsidised coach, this time for our trip to Halifax on Saturday 27th February.. This will be a crucial game for both sides and it is hoped as many of the Wood Army will make the trip north to get behind Luke and the players.
Those of you who were booked onto the southport coach, will automatically be booked onto the Halifax coach. Should you not be able to attend this game then please contact Grant Morris on 07703658554 or grant.bwfc@outlook.com who will arrange a refund for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Our travel club minibuses will once again resume for our next away games up at Grimsby Town and at Braintree Town. Personal bookings will be taken by Grant Morris in the club shop on Saturday, when we face a crucial survival game against Kidderminster Harriers..
