Scott was a big part of the Chesham side that finished last season as runner up to Hemel Hempstead in the Southern Premier league and then narrowly failed to win their play-off final against near neighbours St Albans City.

Scott joins an already strong squad of players being assembled here at the Wood and adds further competition to an already talented midfield group of players that include Matty Whichlow, Graeme Montgomery, Greg Morgan, Luke Garrard, Mario Noto and Ricky Shakes, who are all signed and looking forward to next season.

Manager Ian Allinson said “I’m delighted that Scott is joining us, he’s a hard working centre mid player, who I believe will complement our squad. I watched Chesham three or four times last year and though others often seemed to earn the plaudits over there. Scott was the one I liked and felt might improve us, he always grafted for the team, did the ugly side of things and got them playing. I’m just happy we could reach agreement, he seems a smashing lad and i look forward to working with him”…

Allinson went on to reveal, “I’m close to adding two very good strikers that I’ve been chasing to the squad. Holidays are delaying me finalising things, I’m confident we’ll get the deals done but until there completed I’ll keep these to myself. I’ve also invited teenager Ryan Hope to join us in pre-season after his recent release from Watford. He comes with a good pedigree, has an attitude and engine I like, he’ll get a chance to impress me in some quality games throughout pre-season and I’m happy he has accepted the challenge I’ve set him”…
