The club are delighted to announce that young striker Bradley Sach, is the next player from the clubs acclaimed Academy to sign first team forms. The club have been quietly excited by Bradley’s development for a while, as he continues the progress he’s already made over the past 18 months.
The youngsters stats though are starting to speak for themselves, having scored over 25 goals already this season, with 10 goals coming in his last 4 games.
Bradley joined the club back in August 2015, as a first year and as part of the BW PASE Scheme. He initially trained at the scheme’s secondary training site at O.E’s, with his development carefully monitored by Cameron Mawer over the first part of that season.
He worked extremely hard in that period and scored over 30 goals. From there Brad then joined up with our Academies Elite training programme at BWFC in the March of 2016, scoring on his reserve team debut. In truth he hasn’t looked back and he has even recently been captaining both the U18s and reserve`s on more than a few occasions and it again shows his maturity and development.
Brad will be the seventh player from our Academy this season, to sign first team forms, making it one of the most successful years ever, in regards to Academy players progressing to the first team squad.
First team manager Luke Garrard said “this is a very big step up for Bradley, but it’s also just reward for his perseverance and hard work. I’ve quietly spoken to him about what I expect and he’ll come in to the set up gradually with my full confidence. There’s no pressure on him at all and if he does well, then I’ll be delighted, but I want him to get up to speed gradually nothing more”..
