On Saturday 13th July both Boreham Wood and Luton Town will come together to celebrate the life of Club Legend Ryan Moran who tragically lost his battle against cancer. Luton Town is where Ryan began his footballing career and made his first team debut as a 17 year old in the 1998/99 season.
Ryan then moved to nearby St Albans City before spending 8 years with the Wood racking up over 320 appearances for the club. In Ryan’s 8 years there were 3 promotions with him getting the winner in our Play Off final victory as well as some fantastic FA Cup runs that ended at Blackpool and Torquay without forgetting the memorable FA Trophy campaign where we reached the Semi-Finals in the 2005/06 season
We ask both sets of supporters to participate in a minutes applause in Ryan’s memory and we believe it is fitting it is against the team he made his professional debut for.

Ryan’s Funeral is being held at Ethelredas Church 11am, Old Hatfield. Then onto Garston Crematorium at 12.40. Ryan’s life will then be celebrated at Hatfield Social Club.
