Boreham Wood’s Under 18’s entertain Billericay Town this Thursday, 20th October 2011 in the Third and final Qualifying Round of The FA Youth Cup at Meadow Park, kick off 7.30pm, for a place in this seasons First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup.

‘Wood’ have beaten Hoddesdon Town, Brentwood Town and Bishops Stortford to reach this stage of the competition, with 8-0, 2-0 and 1-0 scorlines against respective teams. After recieving a Preliminary Round bye, Billericay Town, who are current Essex County Champions, have gone on to beat Royston Town 3-0 in the First Qualifying Round, followed by a 2-1 victory at home to East Thurrock United in the Second Qualifying Round.

An exciting game is in store at Meadow Park, with the winners of Hadleigh United and Thurrock who play Wednesday night, waiting in the First Round Proper. So come and get behind the boys, as the ‘Wood’ youngsters try and reach the First Round Proper, which has eluded them for the previous two seasons, where they have fallen at the final hurdle on both occasions.
