Due to an ever growing Football Academy, Boreham Wood Football Club have a number of part time job opportunities available at its facility and in both its function bars and recreation center.
Bar work will be available throughout the week and weekends to cover our Functions, our Academy, our BWFC match days and to cover our commitments to both the Arsenal Development Squad and the Arsenal Ladies fixtures.
On top of the Positions within the bar areas, the club are also looking for both early morning and early evening cleaners. Experience though preferred, is certainly not essential as full training will be given.
The successful applicants will need to be reliable, will need to be CRB checked and must recognise that we are an important part of the local community and we open our doors to a variety of private functions including; Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Anniversaries Funerals, Christmas parties and Bar mitzvahs. So customer care, hard work, enthusiasm and a smart appearance is very important. To apply you must be at least 18 years old to and references will be required.
The Bar and Recreation room positions, will involve weekend work and various shifts. To include general bar work, the serving of alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks to the public, working the tills and liaising with the Bar Manager. At all times a tidy workstation must be maintain and the general cleanliness of the bar and Recreation room is essential.
The successful applicants would at times be responsible for the management of their shift and that would include the opening and closing procedures. They would also work alongside the Bar Manager and to their instructions to ensure strict stock control and cashing up procedures are followed.
The two cleaning positions available have some flexibility, with the chosen hours being either 7am until 9:30am, four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) a week or from 5:30pm until 8:00pm, whatever best suits the right candidates.
