Boreham Wood FC can confirm that goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore has joined National League counterparts Maidenhead United on a short-term loan until the end of the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Nathan experienced a long-term injury in our defeat at Chesterfield in mid-October which meant the Gaffer sought to find a replacement in Nathan’s absence, with Fulham’s Taye Ashby-Hammond arriving at the LV BET Stadium Meadow Park on loan.

Nathan’s recovery was in truth faster than expected and as such all parties decided the best course of action for both Nathan and the team was for Nathan to take the next step in his recovery by getting minutes under his belt on loan.

Subject to FA and National League approvals, Nathan is available for immediate selection for Alan Devonshire’s Maidenhead United as they travel to Woking on Saturday afternoon in the Vanarama National League.

Best of luck during your time at York Road, Nathan!
