Form Guide

Despite a first half full of chances for the Wood, they could only return from Orient with a 0-0 draw.

It remains another solid point away from home, with Luke Garrard asserting that he will take plenty of positives from the performance.

The Wood remain in eighth place in the National League, level on points with seventh placed Tranmere Rovers.

Managed by 67-year-old John Still, Dagenham & Redbridge currently sit sixth in the National League table on 45-points.

Victory for Garrard’s side, would see them leapfrog Dagenham in the standings.

Still’s side have lost twice in their last five matches, with defeats to both Leyton Orient and Eastleigh.

They beat Hartlepool United last time out, coming away with a 4-2 win at home over the Pools.

From the Dugout – Luke Garrard

“We can take a lot of positives into the Dagenham game, it was another clean sheet and we kick on now.

“We will recover and regroup, it was tough for the boys against Leyton Orient, they put a shift in and worked ever so hard, and that will have taken a lot of out of them.

“They have got a recovery day now, then back in again Monday and we will focus on Dagenham. We will see how they got on and try and dissect where we think we can hurt them.

“But, we go there now and again I keep saying it, but if you take the Sutton fixture out of it, the one at home, it would have been one loss in 17, I believe.

“For us, I think that is a massive accolade, but we need wins, everyone knows that.

“I believe that we were in the playoffs until Tranmere equalised late on, and we can potentially go and nestle into the middle of the playoffs on Tuesday, with a positive result.”
