Club comes together for local Dementia Club!

The mood in the room was buzzy at the Club’s End of Season Gala on Monday night as players, staff, sponsors, club partners and councillors all enjoyed a night of unity and togetherness, carefully crafted within Chairman Danny Hunter’s speeches.

Unity and community togetherness were beautifully on display for our charity raffle, with the room supporting our local Dementia Club. There was generosity in abundance, with £930.00 raised. That figure was then doubled by a truly heartwarming gesture from Chairman Danny Hunter, who matched the initial total and took the total raised for the Dementia Club to an amazing £1,860.00!

The Dementia Club is a cause close to so many of our hearts and one that we as a Club support regularly. They provide vital support, friendship, love and care to many within our town and surrounding area. All of our funds raised go directly towards supporting their invaluable work, ensuring they can continue to offer their services to those who really do need them most.

With some fantastic prizes and winners celebrating their lucky tickets, the raffle was again, due to people’s outstanding generosity, another resounding success!
