Boreham Wood Football Club are more than excited to announce that a very strong Arsenal XI will once again be gracing Meadow Park in our forthcoming pre-season programme.
The high-profile fixture will take place on Saturday, July 14, with a 3pm kick off, so make sure that you don’t miss out!
Boreham Wood and Arsenal are now a year into their new ten-year contract together, and as always, the Gunners have promised a strong XI will be attending Meadow Park.
Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said: “We are as a club very sad, to be losing a such great friend to our club in Mr Wenger, but also very excited that this game could well be the new Arsenal manager’s first official game in charge of a Gunner’s team and as such, we expect a sell-out on the day and a very strong side to attend.
“As such, the game will need to be an all ticket affair, and when both our season and Arsenal’s seasons are over, we will announce both price and match details, for what will most definitely be our showpiece pre-season game.”
