Boreham Wood travel to Billericay Town for another interesting Pre season friendly fixture. Boreham Wood have close links with Billericay, with long friendships at boardroom and management level.
However, ‘The Wood’ will be without strikers David Bryant, Ali Chaaban and Elliott Godfrey on Saturday. Midfielder Barrie Matthews will also be missing, as well as Central Defender Charlie O’loughlin still forced out with an ankle injury.
Gaffer Ian Allinson said “I’m still looking to add two or three to my squad, so with the absentees on top of that, it will give me a chance to run the rule over some of the clubs promising academy players, and one or two on trial. I’m really looking forward to the game as Billericay are always a good test” He concluded.
