Boreham Wood Football Club’s under 18’s cruised through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup, beating Hoddesdon Town 8-0 on a slick Meadow Park pitch.
Hat trick from Dean Rubinia, braces from Harvey Scott-Morris and Steve O’Connor, as well as a late goal from Stuart Henderson secured ‘Wood’s’ place in the First Qualifying Round against the winners of Brentwood Town V Ilford away, who play tonight.
Luke Garrard, Head Academy Coach, said “I am very happy with the boys tonight. We started the game brightly, and that momentum stayed with us the whole game. Next round will be a tougher game, but we will prepare for that game in the same way we did for tonight’s game” He concluded.
