HOME V HEMEL

As we enter the final five league games, we are surprisingly to some, still well in the promotion hunt for the Conference South title and Conference National Football.

With title favourites Bromley unexpectedly losing 0-1 at home to Staines Town. It has given ourselves and of course the chasing pack, a real chance of prolonging this exciting title battle and taking it to the very last game of the season at least..

We ourselves recorded a hard fought 1-0 away win against local rivals Wealdstone, with only a Ricky Shakes goal separating the teams. Though as manager Ian Allinson said “that win will mean little, if we don’t follow that up by putting 3 points on the board starting next Saturday”.

Local rivals and fellow play off contenders Hemel Hempstead, are the visitors to Meadow Park this coming Saturday and as in any local derby, we really do need all of your support.

So if you can get yourself, get your friends and get all the family down to Meadow Park, (even if you haven’t been down to a game for years), it really would be hugely appreciated by the dressing room and it genuinely does make a difference..
