Boreham Wood Football Club are absolutely delighted to announce once again that a full Watford first team will now be coming to play us, this Thursday 24th July, at our home of Meadow Park.
Kick off will be at 7:30 with all of Watford’s new signings expected to play a part.
Boreham Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said “I would just like to thank everyone connected at Watford, for agreeing to play us once again. It’s fantastic that they bring such a good squad to us and feels like a reward for the improvements we’ve made with our facility. The official match confirmation is obviously later than normal but Watford to their credit needed to make sure on their availability and the strength of their squad, so I’m thrilled with this outcome”.
The Chairman finished by saying “All the Watford fans have been great to us over the years, in supporting this fixture and we truly look forward to then doing so again as this is a local fixture that makes our pre-season complete. The pitch as you can imagine, is in great nick, our new West Stand was opened by Arsene Wenger and Arsenal on Saturday and everyone is now really looking forward to welcoming Watford supporters, players, managers and Directors” he concluded..
Admission is pay on the night and prices are £12 Adults to Sit or Stand and £6 for Concessions to sit or stand. The Bars are open from 4:30pm, families are welcome and the stadium gates open at 6pm.
