The record-breaking BW PASE Academy are now recruiting again! The next trial date has been set as Tuesday, May 29. Registration for the trial will be at 9.30am.

PASE is arguably the UK’s largest, and most successful football and education scheme and this is your chance to join.

The academy has produced the likes of Wolves’ Ben Goodliffe, Ranger’s Lee Hodson, Blackpool’s Kyle Vassell and Luton Town’s Pelly Ruddock, to name just a few.

We are now on the lookout for the next footballing talent, and it could be you. The first team are fighting for a place in the National League play-offs, and if we win promotion, then you could be joining a Football League academy!

The Wood Academy has become a breeding ground for young talent and continues to produce International players, with five earning call-ups for England Colleges this campaign, and four making their first team debuts.

This follows last year’s successful campaign, where they were named National College Champions of England and Wales and the Conference Leagues ‘Champion of Champions’.

The PASE Academy was set up by the Chairman in 2002 and provides 16-to-18-year-olds of all abilities the chance to join the club’s sports education programme.

This scheme is based upon players showing the right attitude, discipline and desire and is completely free, apart from a small training kit cost.

The facilities at Boreham Wood are first class, with a Premier League standard, million pound Desso surface and a new 5th Generation astro pitch. As well as two fully-functional rehabilitation gyms across our training and education sites.

The work that the players do on the pitch, is then backed up by our Sky Sports style smart boards, which enable our coaches to review matches and go through things tactically with the scholars.

You will be coached by our superb UEFA and FA licensed coaches, which include current and former players.

Current first team players Ricky Shakes, Danny Woodards, David Stephens, Bruno Andrade, Angelo Balanta, Paul Benson, Dean Wells and Tom Champion all coach the PASE Academy players, alongside first team coach Cameron Mawer and club coaches Micky Engwell and Charles Nichol.

If you sign up for the PASE academy, you will also receive a complimentary Boreham Wood season ticket, so that you can cheer on your potential teammates. The first team got to the National League Promotion final this season, narrowly losing to Tranmere Rovers and you could be a part of our journey.

Boreham Wood offer the most diverse array of academic courses in the country for this type of scheme and have a track record of success in regards to retention and course success rates, with over 630 students taken on this year.

PASE offers a wide range of tailor-made courses that provide its students with an educational programme that marries up to their training programme. These courses include BTEC, CYQ, Construction and A-levels.

Whether you want to study alternative courses such as Art, Business, Drama and ICT, or gain your BTEC in Sports Science, PASE has you covered.

Our education programme has led to numerous students going to University, and 18 continuing their education on Soccer Scholarships in America.

The training programmes work around the student’s academic timetables so that they can achieve the success they need both on-and-off the field.
