Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce that they’ll be running an under 16s team for the 2017/18 season.
After the success of the clubs U/16s academy side last season, in which they achieved both the league and cup double. This was elevated even further when a member of that squad, became a full England College International this year, with another squad member signing first team forms this season and being a part of the first team match day squad four times.
All of that squad have had the opportunity to also train with the first team and have tasted reserve team football this year. This speaks volumes for their progression from the U/16’s, into our PASE Scheme and onwards, towards our first team and even beyond.
So if you are a talented U/15 at present, if you can see yourself as the clubs next Academy player to progress from our U/16’s to our first team squad or beyond. Then our acclaimed Academy will be running its first trial on Tuesday, 11th April, 10am registration at Boreham Wood Football Club.
