The PASE academy is famed for its continued success, and 2016/17 was no different as captain Ben Goodliffe was snapped up by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Wood Academy has become a breeding ground for young players in recent years and continues to produce International talent with three players earning call-ups for England Colleges this campaign and six making their first team debuts.

They also became both the National College Champions of England and Wales and the Conference Leagues ‘Champion of Champions’.

The PASE Academy was set up by the Chairman in 2002 and provides 16-to-18-year-olds of all abilities the chance to join the club’s sports education programme.

This scheme is arguably the most successful programme of its kind in the UK and is based upon players showing the right attitude, discipline and desire.

It is completely free apart from a small training kit cost and comes with a complimentary Boreham Wood season ticket.

Boreham Wood offer the most diverse array of academic courses in the country for this type of scheme and have a track record for success in regard to retention and course success rates.

PASE offers a wide range of tailor-made courses that provide its students with an educational programme that marries up to their training programme. These courses include BTEC, CYQ, Construction and A-levels.

The training programmes work around the student’s academic timetables so that they can achieve the success they need both on-and-off the field.
