Boreham Wood PASE SCHEME this year has enjoyed its most successful season to date, enjoying their triumphs with its Educational Partners in COHENEL College and Verulam School.

This year has seen Boreham Wood under 19s win their first Suburban Reserve League Title and becoming the National English College Champions.  Following this success Boreham Wood Under 18s have won their fifth successive League Title in as many years and are in contention to be named the Champions of Champions where they face St Margaretsbury in the upcoming final.

The talent that Boreham Wood have produced over the last year has been recognised on a national level with five boys being selected to represent England schools and colleges in the U18 and U19 ranks.  Both Bradley Fraser and Jordan Lawal have been selected to tour Italy with the English College squad, also Ruddock Yala and Charlie Hunter both second year scholars have also represented the National College squad in a 3-2 win against League side Stockport County.  Last but no means least young second year Lee Close was selected to play for English Schools in the Centenary Shield against Republic of Ireland Live on Sky Sports where on his debut managed to pick up man of the Match.

Over the last 10months of the season the Academy has played an important part in the progression of the First Team with four boys making their debut in the Conference South, Bradley Fraser, Charlie Hunter, Simeon Akinola and Lee Close and also Tony Walker making his first appearance for the First team in a FA Trophy fixture against Eastbourne Borough along with Harvey Scott and Connor Lancaster making the 16 man squads in both FA Cup and FA Trophy respectively.

With a successful year comes hard work, we could not of been able to achieve all the above if it was not for the help and support of our Partners in both Verulam School and COHENEL College, they understand the clubs ambition and will work alongside us to achieve and strive on year by year.
