Boreham Wood V Woking – Blue Square Bet South
Saturday 28th January 2012 – Kick off 3.00PM

This Saturday, 28th January 2012 Boreham Wood host league leaders Woking in the Blue Square Bet South Division, kick off 3.00pm.

Woking currently sit at the top of the Blue Square Bet South having won 19, drew 5 and lost just 3 of their 27 games so far. Whilst scoring 57 and conceding 23 in the process, giving Woking the best attacking and defensive record in the league.

Although Woking have seemed to run away with the League so far this season, currently being 12 points ahead of second placed Welling United, they are currently experiencing a slight dip in form having picked up just 3 points from their last possible 9 available.

However ‘Wood’ bounced back to winning ways this Saturday gone when in-form Weston Super Mare travelled to Meadow Park. Local boy Billy Lobjoit scored twice on his debut after joining on Work experience from Leyton Orient in the week and the game was put out of sight when substitute Sam Lechmere tapped in from close range to secure a 3-0 win.

Both sides met earlier in the season at the Kingfield Stadium and played out a 0-0 draw, but on that day the result could have gone either way as both teams had chances to win the game. ‘Wood’ will be looking to repeat a similar performance on Saturday as they look to put pressure on the sides above them in the league, and begin to look upwards rather than the sides below them.

The Community Department would like to remind all local primary school students that there are complimentary tickets for this Saturday’s fixture. If you would like to claim your child’s ticket then please collect it from The Communtiy Department at the Club before 5.00pm Friday 27th January 2012.

Admission prices: £12 adults, £6 Children/OAP.
