Wood embark on their penultimate away game of the season on Monday afternoon, making the relatively short journey to the Gallagher Stadium, home of Maidstone United for the second time this season.

After winning in the FA Trophy, Luke Garrard will be hoping for much of the same on Monday, but know with the form that Maidstone are currently in it will be no easy task.

Jay Saunders has done a tremendous job as at one stage Maidstone looked to be in serious trouble but their form in the past 10 games has seen them pull well clear of the bottom four and a mid table finish could well be on the cards.

If the gaffers target at the start of the season is to be met then Wood will need to pick up maximum points and maintain their 100% record at the Gallagher stadium, which currently stands at 2 wins from 2 games albeit both were in cup competitions.

It will be the fourth time the sides have met this season. Maidstone won at Meadow Park in the league with a 94th minute Kevin Lokko goal. Both sides played out a draw at Meadow Park in the FA Trophy before Wood won comfortably in the replay, so it is all square at one win a piece.

With it sure to be a great game we hop as many of the Wood Army faithful will make the trip to get behind Luke Garrard’s side.
