On Saturday 31st March 2012 Boreham Wood travel to Kent to take on Dover Athletic in the Blue Square Bet South, kick off 3.00pm.
Dover currently sit in 6th position, just one place off the play offs, having won 15, drawn 13 and lost 8 from their 36 league games so far this season, whilst scoring 55 and conceding 40 in the process.
Dover are experiencing a slight dip in form of late, losing their last two games to strugglers Staines Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough 4-0 and 1-0 respectively. However the Whites will be looking to put them losses behind them when ‘Wood’ visit the Crabble this Saturday in an attempt to keep in touch with the play off pack, so the Boreham Wood players will be sure to have a hard game on their hands.
‘Wood’ come into Saturday’s game off a 6-1 drubbing of Eastleigh at home last Saturday and will try replicate a similar performance to return to Meadow Park with all 3 points.
Back in November ‘Wood’ hosted the Whites twice in a week when they met for a Blue Square South League game, as well as in the FA Trophy. With two impressive performances ‘Wood’ recorded two outstanding wins over Nicky Forster’s men, 4-2 and 1-0 respectively.
Hopefully ‘Wood’ can continue their recent good form in coming weeks and cement a top half finish. C’mon the Wood!
