Two sides tipped for a decent chance of making the play off’s meet up this Saturday with a common goal, to kick start their respective poor starts to the season.

The Clarets managed this term by Dean Holdsworth find themselves down in fifteenth spot after twelve games. Their points tally of thirteen is just four more than Wood’s who find themselves in the bottom three as the season enters its second quarter.

For Ian Allinson the task is simple. “ We have to improve our League form. We have not won on the road since the first game of the season and that must change. Carlisle United will be the last thing on the players minds as that is only a very nice distraction for us in theory. We need to go and do to Chelmsford what we did to Weston Super Mare last season in our last game before the F A Cup Tie with Brentford. They are not the side of old it appears and we will be targeting a win against a side in the bottom eight.”

That trip to Weston, which resulted in a 2-4 victory after being two goals down featured strikes from Greg Morgan and Callum Reynolds, two players that Allinson will be looking to for more of the same in Essex this Saturday.

City looked to be getting their season back on track with back to back wins, before losing their last two matches, against Farnborough then more surprisingly last Saturday at Gosport Borough.

However their home form is still imposing, winning both their October fixtures, a 3-0 victory against high flying Eastbourne Borough and a 1-0 win against Bath City.
