With the FA Cup coming to Meadow Park tomorrow, Boreham Wood want to make sure that as many people as possible get their snaps taken with the famous trophy, before enjoying the high-profile friendly with Arsenal XI. 

The FA Cup will first be heading to Borehamwood Tesco, situated on Shenley Road, at 4pm where it will be waiting with Luke Garrard and his community staff for photo opportunities. 

You could also win a free Child’s ticket to the prestigious fixture, with Garrard and his staff giving away tickets at Tesco.  

The trophy will then be relocated into the bar at Meadow Park from 5pm, where you can enjoy a drink and again have your photograph taken.

The fixture between Boreham Wood and an Arsenal XI be the official opening of the club’s Premier League standard, million pound Desso pitch and surrounding features.

The cutting of the ribbon is expected to be done by Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis, who we hope to be present on Thursday to enjoy a great evening of football.

It has already been announced that Arsenal are likely to bring Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson, Chuba Akpom and Jeff Reine-Adelaide, amongst others, to play in the showpiece fixture.

It’s a pay-on-the-gate game and both Arsenal and Boreham Wood season tickets holders will be given half-priced entry. 2017/18 season tickets will be required as proof on the turnstile.

Entrance fee’s for the game are as follows: Adults £14; OAPS £12, under 16’s £8 and under 12’s £4 .
