Following the success of the Community initiatives run prior to the Boreham Wood vs Arsenal XI fixture, the club are delighted to announce that they will once again be putting on free coaching sessions for children.

The coaching sessions will run between 1-2pm prior to Saturday’s match at home to Solihull Moors. All children participating will receive a FREE ticket to the match.

Registration for the sessions starts at 12.30 and will be run by the club’s famous PASE coaching staff.

There will be further promotions on the day in the club shop for children who have participated, with more details being announced nearer the time.

Make sure that your children does not miss this excellent opportunity to sharpen their footballing skills on the Wood’s brand-new 5G Astro turf.

The children will be training on the same pitch as their favourite stars, whether it be Marquee signing Keiran Murtagh, sharp shooting Paul Benson or our skipper Mark Ricketts, this is their chance to replicate their heroes.

The children will then all be able to watch the Wood for FREE, as they attack their second home match of the season, against Solihull Moors.

Community Manager Micky Engwell said: “The sessions against Arsenal were just so successful and the joy on the kids’ faces was priceless.

“Every session that we puts on brings the amazing community of Borehamwood together and we are proud to be able to say we are a part of that.

“We will have our best coaches on the Astro turf that day, all working towards making the children into stars of the future.

“The children can then sit back and enjoy as their heroes take on Solihull Moors!”
